OSCE Training on Gender-sensitive Labour Migration Issues

On 27-28 June 2017, the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE/ODIHR) in cooperation with the Secretariat of the State Commission on Migration Issues and the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs conducted the training on gender-sensitive labour migration issues, hosted by the Tbilisi Public Service Hall. The representatives of the state institutions as well as other relevant international and non-governmental organizations were attended the training.

The training was focused on human rights and aimed to facilitate the effective implementation of the OSCE commitments undertaken by the member states in the field of labour migration by ensuring that the representatives of both gender fully benefit from legal migration opportunities and equally enjoy the access to the labour market.
