Working Group Meeting On Migration Data Management

A working group meeting took place in Hotel Ambassador, Kachreti, Georgia on 19- 20 May 2015. The meeting was organised by the ENIGMMA project in close cooperation with SCMI Secretariat. The working meeting was held within the migration data management component and aimed at bringing together representatives from IOM and working group member state institutions for setting up a Unified Migration Analytical System.

During the two-day seminar, the participants discussed the results of the study visits to Estonia (organised by IOM) and Austria (organised by ICMPD). Representatives from the state institutions presented technical solutions, budget and legislative aspects for the creation of a migration data analytical system. In addition, further support from ICMPD and IOM for the creation of the above mentioned system within the framework of their EU-funded projects was discussed.
