The information meeting was held on EU-Georgia visa liberalization campaign for travel agencies

On September 17, at the hotel "Tbilisi Marriott", within the framework of the second phase of the EU-Georgia visa liberalization information campaign, the Office of the State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and the Secretariat of the State Commission on Migration Issues with the support of the National Tourism Administration organized a meeting for the representatives of IATA- member travel agencies.

The participants of the meeting were welcomed by the Deputy State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, Papuna Shengelaia, Director of information Center on NATO and the EU, Ketevan Chachava and the head of Research and Planning Department of the National Tourism Administration Giorgi Bregadze.

The meeting addressed the ongoing process of the EU-Georgia visa liberalization information campaign, as well as the frequently asked questions on the visa free-travel with the EU and the Visa Facilitation and Readmission agreements between Georgia and the European Union. The experts from the government institutions and agencies introduced the detailed information about the rights and responsibilities of the future visa-free regime with the EU for the citizens of Georgia.
