Information seminar on personal data protection and migration

An information seminar with the primary focus on personal data protection and migration was held for journalists on 10-11 October 2015. The seminar was organized by the Personal Data Protection Inspector's Office and supported by ICMPD in the framework of the EU-funded programme.

The representatives of the Personal Data Protection Inspector's Office provided journalists with the detailed information about importance of the personal data protection, subsequent challenges and 2-year long activities of the Inspector's Office.

The second day of the training was fully dedicated to the Visa Liberalsation Action Plan, the activities which the latter covers and the novelties in the field. A discussion was held during the Seminar, where the journalists' questions about implementation of the Action Plan and the relevant informational campaigns were answered by the SCMI Secretariat.
